Q: Are you fully licensed and insured?

A: Yes we are, California License #734346

Q: Is removing my old roof required?

A: Not always, but it is usually best. It is not uncommon for us to find unknown problems such as dry rot, at the time of tear off. With the roof removed, these problems can be addressed right at the source.

Q: How long is my estimate valid?

A: Your Estimate is usually good for 15- 30 days. After 30 days, please call us and we’ll let you know if another estimate is needed. Usually the determining factor is material costs.

Q: What kind of warranty do you offer?

A: We offer a 5 year warranty on workmanship. Depending on the type of shingle you purchase, or if you purchase an NDL commercial warranty, those materials will have their own warranty as well.

Q: What is the difference between a fiberglass laminate and 3-tab shingles?

A: A laminate is composed of two shingle strips glued together in a way that creates a random appearance. They are rated for 30, 40 and 50 years depending on the quality and thickness. The weight per square is much greater than a 3-tab type. The 3-tab shingle is a one layer, flat shingle. It has vertical keyways (slots) across it to create its pattern. It is available in 20 and 25 year ratings.
